There’s an urban legend running, and has been for several hundred years, that the Muslims invented the zero.
…actually it was “invented” — if you choose to call it that — in pre-Islamic India.
But, facts and history are not really necessary for the politically correct apologists who buy into the pro-muslim swill and hogwash.
Mathematician Abu Ja’far Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi was influential in spreading the word, but the principles upon which he worked were discovered years before him… or Muhammad.
What we call “arabic” numerals actually come from pre-Islamic India.
What the Muslims actually invented was not the zero, but in fact zero: as in zip, zilch, nada…
…except for a few cultural traditions (like harems), having sex with prepubescent boys and girls, and goats.
But, such historical facts only tend to add to the oppressive male patriarchy of Islam.
Not politically correct…
…but historically so.
